Krishnamurti’s Teaching on Transformation
A Talk by The Krishnamurti Foundation Trust Duncan Toms & Bill Taylor
Thursday 17th June 6pm
Starts 6.00pm London Time – Zoom link open from 5.45pm London Time
For more than five decades Krishnamurti (the name means “in the likeness of God”) wondered over the face of our earth with a declared concern of setting mankind ”absolutely, unconditionally free’’. The lives of countless human beings in every continent have been touched, in varying degrees, by his numerous talks, interviews and publications. He is the voice of a sage who speaks from the depth of a rare, inner illumination. With compassion and intensity of purpose he taught of the need for a mutation in the consciousness of mankind.
Senior representatives from The Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, a UK charity that preserves and makes Krishnamurti’s teachings available, will briefly introduce the work at Brockwood Park in Hampshire, the Krishnamurti Centre which is an adult retreat and study centre and the Brockwood Park School, an international boarding school founded by Krishnamurti in 1969.
The main part of the presentation will feature two video clips of Krishnamurti’s talks and discussions. The video clips have been carefully selected to reflect the theme of Transformation enabling us to experience Krishnamurti ‘doing the talking’ regarding his teachings.
